I have been at All Souls since 2016, having previously taught at the Universities of London, Birmingham, and Michigan, and having been a Tutorial Fellow of Univ. for eight years. My main project since joining the College has been a large-scale book on the philosophy of language which I expect to appear, under the title 'Wise Men's Counters: An Essay on Truth and Understanding', in 2027. Since 2016, I have also published papers on philosophical logic and the philosophy of mathematics.
