Professor Graeme Segal wins Chern Medal

Professor Graeme Segal, Emeritus Fellow of All Souls College, has been awarded the Chern Medal in Mathematics for his ‘enduring influence in a wide range of fields, including topology, mathematical physics, representation theory and category theory’. Graeme Segal was a Senior Research Fellow at All Souls from 1999 to 2009, and previously held a chair at Cambridge.
