Distinguished Fellow since 2008
I am a retired Lord Justice of Appeal, having been appointed in 2016 and also made a Privy Counsellor, after serving for 10 years as a High Court Judge in the Chancery Division. Since reaching the then mandatory judicial retirement age of 70 in 2021, I have continued to sit part-time in the Civil Division of the Court of Appeal of England and Wales when opportunities arise.
