Dr James Adams , Emeritus Fellow (Senior Research Fellow, 1998-2010), has been appointed CBE in the 2015 Birthday Honours List for services to Classics.

Professor Dame Marina Warner, Fellow of All Souls College, has been awarded the 2015 Holberg Prize for ‘her work on the analysis of stories and myths and how they reflect their time and place’. The Holberg Prize, established by the Norwegian Parliament, is awarded annually to a scholar who has made an outstanding contribution to research in the arts and humanities, social sciences, law, or theology.
